Vendor Contract Details

YQL Marketplace wants to be your place. We offer more than just space to sell.

We offer affordable rates for Lethbridge’s only year round Marketplace.

Space, utilities, advertising is all taken care of, you just need to bring your booth display and start selling to the many customers coming through our doors every week.

With many booth sizes and casual to long term opportunities available to suit your needs.

Full Time Vendor Contract

Full time vendors are vendors that wish to sell at YQL Marketplace 3 markets a week for a minimum 12 month period. Full time vendors keep their booth space for the duration of their contract and are not required to take down their display week by week. Full time vendors must commit to a minimum of 131 of the 155 market days 12 month period. A deposit of 50% of initial payment is required to secure space, unless otherwise stated, with remaining initial payment due the day before vendor set up. Subsequent payments for full time vendors are due on the first of each month. Full time vendors wishing to return or extend their contract must submit a new application as a returning vendor.

Part Time Vendor Contract

Part time vendors are vendors that wish to sell at YQL Marketplace 2-3 markets a week on a more than casual basis. Vendors must commit to between 12 and 130 markets in a row to qualify as part time. This option is best suited to vendors who may work another job during the week or have other such commitments that prevent them from attending 3 markets a week on a regular basis. As these vendors commit to multiple weeks in a row, part time vendors may stay set up from week to week for the duration of their contract. A deposit of 50% of initial payment is required to secure space, unless otherwise stated, with remaining initial payment due the day before vendor set up. Subsequent payments for part time vendors are due on the first of each month for the duration of their contract. Part time vendors wishing to return or extend their contract must submit a new application as a returning vendor.

Casual Vendor Contract

Casual vendors are vendors who wish to sell at YQL Marketplace between 1 and 11 markets in a row without a long term commitment. This can be anywhere from 1 to 3 markets in one week for a maximum of 4 weeks or a few markets at a time. Casual vendor contracts will be initially approved the beginning of October and are based on space availability. Casual vendor contracts must be paid in full to secure space. Casual vendors may stay set up for the duration of their contract, but must take down each week, unless they have paid for following week, up to 4 weeks. Casual vendors wishing to return or extend their contract must submit a new application as a returning vendor.
